A Semi-Secret Page dedicated to Claire's cat, Jasper

Jasper the Cat was born on August 18th, 2008 the only kitten of his litter to the cattery, Curl
Essence owned by Mike and Linda Bull. He was delivered by C-section
because he was too big for his mother to have natural birth (i'm not
even joking). His father is an Award Winning Grand Champion American Curl with beautiful orange tabby coloring. His mother is a gorgeous cream and brown colorpoint American Curl, from
France. Jasper somehow turned out all black. From such distinguished bloodlines, one would think Jasper would try and live up to his parents' prestige-- and he has! Some of Jasper's awards include Grand Champion Snoozer as well as a Grand Champion Messy Eater. Due to his mother's French background, Jasper the Cat is literally half French. He sometimes meows in French.
Jasper currently resides as an indoor cat in the California Bay Area with some crazy fairy artist named Claire Nobles. His hobbies include knocking over his water bowl, knocking over his food bowl, and sitting on Claire's computer while nibbling on her elbows. He is also a part-time attack cat... but only when he feels like it.
His current goal in life is to gain world domination by shedding all over any thing not black in color. He already controls the life of Claire who now only can wear all black or dark clothes...

Claire named her cat "Jasper" after the stone. Jasper stones are said to helps aid with balancing energies and aids in grounding, stability and protection. Also jasper stones are good for change and harmony.
Claire confirmed the name "Jasper" when she was found out the nickname would be "Jazz" or "Jazzy." Funny enough, she got the idea while reading Twilight (one of the characters, the most laid back broody one is also named Jasper).
Claire gave Jasper a middle name as she has with all her animals (the family poodle was named Curlton Horton Rasputin the third/fourth, or "Curly" for short - Claire was six-years-old). Jasper's middle name comes from Claire's amazing web guy, Matthew Vincent Mullins. She loved the name Vincent. Also she realized the twilight character Jasper's last name was Cullen, so she formed a double name and changed the spelling.
Claire also happens to like naming cats weird, out-dated people names that wouldn't normally fit a cat... She has named several neighborhood cats: Fred, Louie, George and Edgar. She will continue with this trend for all the boy cats she adopts (besides being an artist, Claire aspires to be a crazy-cat lady) She hopes to one day have four cats, two dogs, and some fish. Jasper has no idea what he is in for.
A few future names Claire has in mind are Bartholomew, Sebastian, Reginald, Cornelius and Archibald.

Jasper first made it into Claire’s paintings with his impressive shedding of cat hair. She finally decided during Halloween to paint him as a goblin-type creature to mess with her fairies. Since then, he has made appearances as a purple pixie in some of her most popular works including the bookmarks, "Trying to Read..." and "Trying to Read Again..."
